Ode & Rae have teamed up with the Aquafil group who produce ECONYL® regenerated nylon.
All pieces are made with ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon fibre from pre and post-consumer waste. We are committed to ensuring all materials (including packaging) will be completely eco-friendly and recyclable.
The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon.
ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers for the fashion industry.
Ode & Rae then utilise the fabric made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon by turning into the luxurious swimwear pieces you all love.
You can find out more about ECONYL® yarn and the entire process by visiting the ECONYL® website here.
